Killer Of Lagos Resident Shot Dead At Petrol Station During Argument Over Struggle For Fuel Is Our Officer –Nigeria Police

The Lagos State Police Command has said that the security operative who shot dead a resident of the state at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) mega filling station in the Obalende area of the state, is one of its officers. SaharaReporters had reported that a male resident whose identity could not be ascertained was shot dead on Wednesday evening while struggling to buy fuel amid the current scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol.

Lagos Resident Reportedly Shot Dead By Law Enforcement Agent During Argument While Struggling To Buy Fuel Amid Scarcity

A resident of Lagos State was on Wednesday evening reportedly shot dead while struggling to buy fuel amid the current scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol.   The male resident whose identity has not been ascertained was shot dead at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) mega filling station in Obalende.   The deceased was said to have engaged in an argument with another person at the filling station over whose turn it was to buy fuel.

BREAKING: Nigerian Court Refuses To Hear Mojekwu's Oral Bail Application, Remands Activist In Prison Over Petition Alleging N20Billion Fraud By Benue Gov Alia's Aide

Mr. Uchenna Mojekwu, a civil rights activist and Secretary of the Global Integrity Crusade Network (GICN), has been remanded in prison by the Chief Magistrate Court 1 in Makurdi, Benue State. The Chief Magistrate, Kelvin Mbanongun, ordered that the activist should be remanded in prison after refusing to hear an oral application for his bail. The chief magistrate asked his lawyer to file a formal bail application. SaharaReporters earlier reported that the police on Thursday took Mojekwu to the Chief Magistrate Court 1 in Makurdi for arraignment.
