Being a coastal State, Goa gets a bountiful of rains during the monsoon from June to September. The intensity of rain is so forceful that it even causes flooding in the low lying areas. But ironically, this rain water is not stored properly and consequently, every summer, Goans face severe hardships due to water scarcity.
