The hyde amendment. it's not only discriminatory against poor, women but so many of the women that rely on medicaid or women of color. it also continues to statistic challenge of inequity that we have in our country. i'm strongly opposed to. it we have to figure out how to get this, through and unfortunately, the hyde amendment has been in place in one way or another since 1976, when it first was enacted, and so this is a battle that we fight over and over again, as we work to try to protect reproductive rights of women, in this case poor women. >> senator tina, smith you can now add one more ...
