Police foot pursuit ends in arrest of suspect
KNBN NewsCenter1 February 20, 2021 RAPID CITY, S.D. — At around 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, a foot pursuit between the RCPD and 22-year-old Thomas Steele began behind Prairie Market and led police to the East Boulevard bridge on the south side. According to Sgt. Ryan Phillips with the RCPD, Steele stayed under the bridge for about 10 to 15 minutes while police negotiated with him. He came out peacefully and was taken into custody.
