Movie inspires police dispatchers to create medical bag for Brownstown K-9
It all started with a movie that had a tragic ending for the featured police dog. Brownstown Township Deputy Police Chief Andrew Starzec said the movie got Dispatcher Heather Jones vowing this will not be an end for their K-9 Officer, Bane and she started thinking about how to best help him if harm comes his way.
