BATH .- The historic paddocks surrounding a famous Bath landmark have been saved and will now be restored to enable visitors to experience a glimpse of William Beckfords gardens and grotto as they were presented almost 200 years ago. The purchase is thanks to an incredibly generous donation from Stephen Morant, who owns Beckfords former estate at Fonthill, in Wiltshire.
