Police investigating fatal weekend shooting
March 16, 2021 Officers with the Marion Police Department (MPD) are investigating a fatal weekend shooting. According to MPD Deputy Chief Stephen D. Dorsey, officers responded to the 3200 Block of South McClure Street on March 12, 2021, at approximately 7:55 p.m., for a shooting with a man down. Upon police arrival to the area, police located a Caucasian male, later identified as 32-year-old Jason Hatton, lying on the ground.
