ELKINS — Edwin Mack Taylor, of Elkins, is facing drug charges, U.S. Attorney Bill Powell announced. Taylor, 53, was indicted on five counts of “Distribution of Methamphetamine.” Taylor is accused of selling methamphetamine, also known as “crystal meth” and “ice,” in January 2020 in Randolph County. Taylor faces up to 20 years of incarceration and a fine of up to $1,000,000 for each count. Tolson, 34, pled guilty to one count of “Possession with Intent to Distribute More Than Fifty Grams of Methamphetamine.” Tolson admitted to having more than 50 grams of methamphetamine in December 2019 in Randolph County. Tolson faces at least 10 years and up to life incarceration and a fine of up to $10 million.
