Kennedy who was there to watch it all did with john king over at cnn. i went to arlington yesterday and spent some time, you know, i do that frequently. and i thought yesterday was an important day to be there because i had hope and confidence and certainly a wish that the bill would pass. and of course ted kennedy was the great leader and inspiration, steve, for the democrats, as they pushed through with health reform, but what is going to be the fallout especially after the ugly way in which it all came to pass last night? well, i mean, i think there were two numbers that sort of collide with one another. the majority of americans according to some polls didn t like this particular health care bill but a majority of americans, 58%, wanted something done. yesterday congress did something. i think it s a tribute to senator kennedy that it occurred and it s a tragedy the republicans didn t vote for it, not a single one. ....
