Secure your boat, rescue group says after false alarm on Cowichan River
“Members were quickly pulled away from their families to go and help someone that might be in a difficult situation,” the group said on its Facebook page. Once they arrived at Stoltz Pool on the Cowichan River and located the boat, they realized it was old and abandoned. “The boat was towed to shore and secured and will be destroyed,” the group said. “Please, if you live alongside any body of water make sure your boat is secure and check on them regularly. “If your boat goes missing, contact your local RCMP.” Read Related Topics
