Grade 12 learners from various schools across the Helderberg area were invited to a function on Friday 22 September, held in the hall at Masjidul Ummah in Gustrouw, Strand to celebrate Heritage Month.
Layusa Oslodien started her teaching career at a very young age at her alma mater, Strand Moslem Primary School in 1982. Serving under five principals, Oslodien holds the distinction of being the first educator to serve the same school for 41 continuous years.
