Appeal to find owners of stolen dog which had microchip removed
AN APPEAL has been launched to find the owners of a stolen dog which was dumped after its microchip was removed. The dog was found with a wound on its back from where its chip had been taken out. A picture of the dog was posted on the Spotted in Stroud Facebook page, to try and reunite it with its owners, and as a warning to dog owners. "I think it was abandoned after being stolen and the thieves realised it was older than they thought," the post reads. "Please circulate in case anyone recognises it. "It could have been taken from anywhere in the country."
