Egerton University graduates have moved to court seeking to suspend teaching of engineering programmes at the institution.
The Commission for University Education (CUE) is assessing an engineering programme by Egerton University.
The impediment has always been a lack of clearance by the Engineers Board Kenya (EBK), the regulatory body for engineers in the country.
At least 200 Egerton University engineering graduates will go back to class for remedial classes starting September to enable them to qualify for accreditation by the industry regulator.
