Palmerston North house prices still rocketing up, but ascent slowing

Houses at the bottom end of Palmerston North’s housing market sold for an average of $497,688, which had increased 3.8 per cent in the previous three months. That was slower growth than when the average price rose 6.6 per cent from January to the end of March. The increase in the overall average house price in the city, which hit $717,733 in June after a 20 per cent annual increase, was also slowing down. That was an 8.5 per cent rise over the previous three months, compared to 10.7 per cent before that.
