Crews tackle fire which spread to four houses in Winchester
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service responded after receiving reports of the blaze in Stuart Crescent at 10.50pm. On Twitter, Basingstoke RDS wrote: "*23:40* H01C3 mobilised alongside various other @Hants_fire resources to a significant ‘Make Pumps 8’ domestic fire in #Winchester. Good stop from initial crews prevented a much more serious fire from occurring."
