Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh is set to star in the action thriller 'The Mother'. Yeoh plays an immigrant mother and businesswoman attempting to start a new life for her family in America. However, when her two teenage kids become involved with a Boston crime gang, she is forced to revisit her past in order to save them.

Michelle Yeoh, an Oscar winner, is set to lead in The Mother, an action-thriller slated to begin production this summer. The film will be directed by Melanie Laurent, recognised for her work in The Adopted and Breathe, as reported by Deadline. The movie revolves around an Iraq War veteran, played by Will Smith, who joins forces with other veterans to take on the drug trade in Boston.
