A LANDMARK Bolton pub has been granted permission to install an outdoor bar after a hearing which heard objections about noise and public disorder from some of its neighbours. The Crofters, on Bradshaw Road, now has a variation to its licence to allow it to have a bar outside and have live music performances until 8pm. Roadowrks DOZENS of road and footpath repairs in residential areas are set to go ahead after previous works were finished with budget to spare. A £12m programme to combat deterioration of residential roads was approved by the Bolton Council’s cabinet in September 2019. Each of the borough’s 20 council wards was allocated £600,000 to spend on repairs and improvements.
