Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the state budget Wednesday that includes over $22 billion for education that will increase funding for Bay District Schools.
PANAMA CITY — Rumors have spread recently about the upcoming April referendum to raise property taxes for Bay District Schools and Superintendent Bill Husfelt recently met with district employees to address those concerns. The referendum will be on the ballot April 20, and at each presentation Husfelt has held recently on the topic, he's shown the language of the proposed tax increase.
