The state Senate and Assembly thwarted Gov. Kathy Hochul’s proposal for tuition hikes at the state’s public universities.

The imminent closure of Sansom Place West comes after Sansom Place East closed in April 2022 for redevelopment into a privately-owned apartment building.

On Aug. 2, 2022, the newly adopted Cornell Student Code of Conduct replaced the Cornell Campus Code of Conduct, significantly changing Cornell’s judicial system.
