Mark Rood
Mark Rood, a theology teacher at Routt Catholic High School, has been selected as this month’s Feature a Teacher honoree.
The Feature a Teacher Award, sponsored by the Journal-Courier and The Farmers State Bank and Trust Co., honors teachers who have gone above and beyond their normal teaching duties and stand out as leaders in education.
Routt Principal Nick Roscetti said Rood is a “dedicated teacher who has earned the respect of the students and fellow faculty members.”
In addition to teaching theology classes, Rood is the high school’s director of campus ministry, oversees the Student Service Hours Program and is adviser for the annual Student Service Fair. He is in his 10th year at Routt Catholic High School. ....
