President is declaring victory and saying they're agreeing to spend more because they pledged to meet that 2%. now to be clear, a lot of countries aren't at 2%, they have until 2020 to meet the goal but a lot aren't on track. the president says he doesn't doubt they won't meet 2% of their gdp on military spending but that is nothing new but that was already what they agreed to do so they are just repeating their pledge despite the president saying otherwise. we also saw stun statements from the president enomying to the nato alliance saying they are a fine tuned machine. listen to what he said...
