Oxygen tankers get 'emergency vehicle' status | India News
NEW DELHI: Now all vehicles carrying oxygen tankers are being treated at par with other emergency vehicles such as ambulance for priority clearance across road networks. Sources said vehicle owners can also put identification marks for easy recognition. “This is being enforced strictly across all toll plazas and all such vehicles are escorted by police. The law doesn’t prohibit such vehicle owners to display prominently that these are carrying oxygen.
