GREATER NOIDA: In two brazen incidents of loot, a group of assailants allegedly robbed petrol pump employees of Rs 10 lakh at gunpoint in central and Greater Noida on Friday.
Following the incident, commissioner of police Alok Kumar Singh suspended Surajpur station house officer Pradeep Tripathi for alleged negligence. Sources said that similar action could be taken against Beta II SHO Sujeet Upadhyay as well.
The first incident took place in Surajpur when two employees of the Indian Oil petrol pump travelling on a scooter were intercepted by the miscreants who snatched the keys of their scooter that had Rs 8 lakh kept inside its boot. ....
