In a tragic incident, Paresh Doshi, a resident of Gujarat's Narmada district, filed an FIR against himself following a fatal accident on the Kheroj-Khedbrahma highway near Daan Mahudi village. Doshi and his wife, Amita, were returning from Ambaji temple when a stray dog caused their car to collide with roadside barricades. Despite bystanders' help, Amita succumbed to her injuries. This incident highlights the issue of stray dogs in Gujarat, which prompted a Public Interest Litigation seeking state intervention, and the concern expressed by the Gujarat High Court.
According to a report by Times of India, the man has been identified as Paresh Doshi, a teacher hailing from Gujarat’s Narmada district. He was returning with his wife Amrita after offering prayers at the Ambaji Temple when the accident occurred.
