A prosecutor in spain sought to bring a case against augusto pinochet, the former dictator of chile, and he was actually arrested in london. and that case was proceeding against him on the grounds that he had tortured spanish citizens in she lay. he was actually held pending trial, but he died before that case ever was resolved. that concept that there are some crimes that are so universal in their application, they can be tried anywhere, that's the idea behind those sorts of prosecutions. but it does seem like a remote possibility here. >> jeffrey toobin also points out that a u.s. law passed...
