The annual Mount Pleasant parade had fewer participants, organizers asked people to wear masks, put out social distancing signs, and streamed the event online. “We had no hand-to-hand contact between participants and spectators this year which people are used to getting lots of candy and stuff handed to them,” Mount Pleasant Special Events Manager Nicole Harvey said.
