In a big win for India's G20 Presidency, the leaders of the grouping on Saturday reached a consensus on the 'New Delhi Declaration.'
In his remarks during the Summit’s Session-2 on ‘One Family’, Modi said, “A good news has just arrived. With our team’s hard work and your cooperation, a consensus has emerged on the New Delhi G20 Leaders’ Summit Declaration.”
Interacting with reporters on the sidelines of the G20 Summit here, Vincent Magwenya, also said that there has been a lot of "positive development" with respect to the Russia-Ukraine conflict this year than it was last year
Jaishankar said the Declaration seeks to accelerate progress on Sustainable Development Goals and has come up with an action plan accordingly.
India's External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, stated that the G20 Summit has made India 'world-ready' and the world 'India-ready.' Jaishankar also mentioned the addition of the African Union to the grouping, stating that it prioritizes the concerns of the Global South.
