Hardy woman arrested in Martinsville homicide
Angelina J. Spade, 19, of Truman Hill Road in Hardy is in the Roanoke City Adult Detention Center, charged in relation to the death of Michael Jerome Hairston, 46, of Summit View Drive in Martinsville, according to Henry County Sheriff Wayne Davis, who held a press conference at the Sheriff's Office Wednesday afternoon.

Jewelry store robbed at gunpoint
Eden Jewelry in Martinsville was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning. Henry County Sheriff Wayne Davis said shortly after 10:30 a.m., three Hispanic males wearing masks entered the store wearing masks and armed with handguns.
