Anguish, hopelessness as displaced Niger residents narrate ordeal

The 43-year-old Fatima has decided to move to her father’s village in Kuchi, where she grew up. It is believed to be safer than her husband’s village for now. She was among the women who ran to take cover at the palace of the Emir of Minna before they were moved to the IBB Primary School as their temporary abode.
