Family's heartfelt tribute to passionate Coast farmer
The Coast identity was the founder of family business Sunray Nursery in Coes Creek and is the brother of Eric who started Erbachers Fruit and Vegetable store in Diddillibah. Mr Erbacher's son David said his father was a "placid" man who had a strong devotion to his children and farming. William 'Bill' Erbacher who founded Sunray Nursery in Coes Creek passed away on Wednesday at the age of 93. "He was always happy, jovial and always very caring for his family," he said. "Family was always right up the top for him. "Dad was always a smiler and never had a cross word for anyone.
