MASSENA â Town of Massena residents can now mark their calendars for the townâs annual spring cleanup. Highway Superintendent Frank Diagostino told Massena Town Council members on Wednesday that the event is scheduled for May 3 to 29 at the Massena Transfer Station on state Route 420. He said the procedure would be the same as last year. Town residents who live outside the village of Massena will receive vouchers, as well as a pamphlet that lists what can be accepted and what will not be accepted. âItâs kind of an educational thing,â Mr. Diagostino said. Vouchers are available starting Monday by calling the town hall, 315-769-3588, ext. 2, or by emailing tpryce@massena.us. They can also be obtained by visiting the town hall. Individuals must show proof of residency in the town to receive the vouchers. ....
Monday, January 25, 2021 - 5:48 am MASSENA The Town Council will hold a special meeting for a public hearing on the East Massena waterline replacement project. It will be Jan. 27 at 4 p.m. broadcast live over the Town of Massena Facebook page. Highway Superintendent Frank Diagostino told the board that it will mostly replace existing water lines in the areas of North Raquette Road, state Route 131 and the Trippany Road area. The project has been in the works for several years. Councilors applauded taking another step toward getting it done. “It’s a long time coming,” Councilor Sam Carbone said. “A lot of hoops to jump through to help make it cost effective.” ....
