Wearing A Mask Is Now Optional For Belton ISD   To wear a mask or not to wear a mask is the question that students and faculty are facing at Belton ISD.  According to KWTX, Belton ISD is making wearing a mask indoors optional beginning May 25th. A 49-year-old Yucca Valley man was arrested Thursday, accused of sexting a 17-year-old girl. Detectives at the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station learned that Miguel Alsop had been sending inappropriate text messages to the girl. Detectives obtained a search warrant, and about 9 a.m. Tuesday, went to Alsop’s home in the 7100 block of Rubidoux Avenue. During their investigation, detectives discovered that Alsop had sent several sexual-related texts to the girl. The Superintendent of Joshua Tree National Park, David Smith, was a guest on the Z107.7 Up Close Show early in April. During the show, Smith discussed many topics relating to the park, including why bringing your pets to the park can be a problem.
