Lions take to the streets of Wicklow for bucket collection
Wicklow and District Lions Club decided to give the shoppers and community of Wicklow town a little surprise on Sunday. The Lions members walked through the town dressed in their novel Lion costumes to entertain the hundreds of people between the Gaol and the Christmas Market. Main Street was pedestrianised at the time and free of traffic. Children's faces lit up at the sight of the Lions led by King Leo but especially as the Lions were joined on their journey by a very special guest - Santa Claus.
