Thaxton residents recovering from storm damage
One local man says WTVA s severe weather coverage helped him and his family Sunday evening.

THAXTON, Miss. (WTVA) -  County workers continued clean-up Monday after a round of severe weather Sunday night caused damage in the Pontotoc County town of Thaxton.
We talked to Jim Austin who lives in Thaxton.
He said he was watching WTVA s severe weather coverage when the high winds blew into Thaxton.
We were watching the news and Chelsea said in seven minutes it will be here, and by the time we got to the storm house it was there, said Austin. ....
