To the residents of Marion,
The Marion Historical Commission requests your vote in favor of our Community Preservation Commission grant application at Town Meeting on May 10.
This funding will continue our town-wide effort to document and research the important historic and architectural resources of Marion. In keeping with the Town’s Master Plan goals of preserving the town’s “historic seaside charm,” our survey projects will give us the foundational basis for identifying and preserving properties and open spaces that contribute to Marion’s unique aesthetic quality and history.
With this information, we can continue to work together towards protecting and preserving Marion’s treasured architectural heritage. ....
