An 11-year-old girl, who went missing a week ago, was raped and later murdered in Surat district of Gujarat, police said on Tuesday.

According to police, the incident took place in a village in the district. On Monday evening, the accused allegedly kidnapped her when she was sleeping next to her mother outside her house.

A 13-year-old girl in Gujarat was allegedly repeatedly raped and impregnated by a man who promised to marry her.

A 20-year-old youth allegedly raped a seven-year-old girl after abducting her from a footpath in Surat, where she was sleeping with her month.
