Looking at the statistics, a fine of Rs 7.43 crore was collected through vehicle towing in 2019, with Rs 2.45 crore being transferred to private contractors responsible for managing towing vehicles and personnel. In 2020, Rs 3.57 crore was collected, with Rs 73.84 lakh going to the contractor. In 2021, out of the Rs 6.91 crore collected, Rs 1.53 crore was the share of the private contractors.
