Looks like the florida keys, miami, and fort lauderdale could actually be in jeopardy now. those areas have according to noaa a 61% to 80% chance that oil will reach their beaches and noaa says the oil won't be in the form it is now. it would be much more degraded. the dispersant would have had some work on it. it would be in the form of scattered tar balls and not the large surface slick of oil that we've seen out here. the threat outlined in noaa's model though does not necessarily indicate that the oil will come ashore for sure. it all depends on the winds and the ocean currents and the wea...
