Rajouri,November 17(Scoop News)- Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, today visited Rajouri district and reviewed the functioning of the Revenue Department here at a meeting of the concerned officers. The Div Com reviewed the status of writing of Jamabandis, change of land use cases, retrieval of state and Kachari land, functioning of patwar khanas, progress made of delineation, generation and distribution of land passbooks, inheritance mutations, the status of online revenue services, etc. The Div Com asked the concerned officers to ensure prompt disposal of online applications. He also stressed on the importance of conducting regular monthly meetings to review the functioning of online services. Seeking the status of the writing of jamabandis, the meeting was informed that the jamabandis for 384 villages out of 386 villages have been written.
