A 40-year-old woman was critically injured and a 35-year-old man hurt after being attacked by a "single male aggressor" at Surrey's Guildford Town Centre mall on Wednesday.
Investigators have identified the suspect as a 17-year-old boy who is now facing two counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of assault causing bodily harm, police said.
According to Metro Vancouver Transit Police, two suspects had an altercation with a young couple at the Guildford Mall and boarded the same public bus shortly afterward.
Police were called to the 10200-block of King George Boulevard on the evening of Aug. 17, where they found a man with serious injuries.
