Rapid Covid-19 tests could be widely used over summer holidays
Slip, slop, slap and swab could be the new summer checklist as the government prepares to roll out rapid Covid tests in holiday hot spots. A government pilot of the antigen tests is proving to be a success, with some participants calling for them to be rolled out to the general public as soon as possible. And while health experts warn the tests aren't as accurate as the usual nasal swabs, they say they're an important part of our Covid defences. Nita Blake-Persen reports.
