Fabricator Queensland Facade Systems met the challenge head-on by using highly acoustic-rated glass and IGU, which also met both WERS and Rw ratings.
Architected by Cottee Parker, The Ambrose stands tall with 181 units, featuring large expanses of glass, recommended by window and door fabricator, Queensland Façade System, to frame the breathtaking views.
To combat the wearing effect of the salty sea breezes, the family opted for aluminium windows, doors and framing from Alspec, with a natural-looking DecoWood finish.
Alspec’s door and framing systems ensured the building was acoustically sound, and complied with all green certification requirements.
A pivotal aspect of the project's success relied on incorporating windows and doors that would flood the building with natural light and air.
