Melb's Highpoint Shopping Centre Is Now A Tier 1 COVID Exposure Site

Victorian health officials have confirmed four new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, and have placed a major shopping centre on the list of exposure sites as a result.
The new cases are all known to each other, and are close family members spread across two households. It is unclear at this stage where the four cases originated from, however Victorian health minister 
Martin Foley stated there is the possibility that they are related to the recent positive case in Wollert, involving a man who tested positive for coronavirus after leaving hotel quarantine in Adelaide. ....

Four people in Melbourne’s northern suburbs have tested positive to Covid-19 and anyone who attended a busy shopping centre has been told to isolate for 14 days, as health authorities plead with Victorians to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
Two of the cases were earlier on Monday reported as “likely positives”. They are a person who got a Covid test on Sunday after beginning to feel sick on Thursday 20 May and a family member who was tested at the same time and was asymptomatic. ....

Victorians are bracing themselves after four new cases in Melbourne, one likely to be quite infectious , surprised a community and ended the state s 87-day Covid-free streak.
But it s not just Victorians that need to worry, according to chief health officer Brett Sutton, who has warned Australians risk further outbreaks over the colder months across the country.
In Melbourne, testing sites were open late on Monday night as officials race to identify the origin of the new cases, warning there could be a missing link .
While testing centre s opening hours were extended, 7 News reporter Melina Sarris said it took 45-minutes at her local site while on Google, searches for Covid tests sky rocketed. ....
