The Tomorrow War With a six-episode series based on the book by Grohl’s mother out a couple of months ago, I’d been wanting to watch it but ended up watching the last one first since it was focused on Geddy Lee of Rush. With Lee and that band being the most influential ones on my life at a pivotal time, I was definitely curious to see what it’d be like. I Kill Giants I burned through a lot of stuff in the week prior and felt a bit of a hard time really getting into the swing of things this week. That said, we did cover some stuff as we made progress here and there, but it’s mostly incremental. The one big thing that I got into that I managed to make some good progress on was  Katla. An eight-episode series from Iceland, I got through the first six over the week and just love the weirdness of it and the gorgeous visual design for it. It comes from one of the creators behind 

I Kill Giants This week saw a few shows finish out for me and some other things start up while also continuing to watch the latest release of  Lucifer. I only watch an episode a day or so as I don’t want to burn through it too quickly and enjoy it. As for the week as a whole… Apple TV+ kicked off a new Stephen King series with Lisey’s Story, which is from a novel of his that he really likes – so much so that he wrote all the episodes for the series. It’s got a great cast with Julianne Moore and Clive Owen along with Jennifer Jason Leigh so it’s off to a great start with a tease ...
