(CNN) — An 8-year-old was left with minor injuries after being attacked by a cougar in Washington’s Olympic National Park on Saturday evening, park officials said.
Trackers are seeking a cougar that attacked an 8-year-old child, reportedly inflicting minor injuries, at Lake Angeles on Saturday, July 29.
In response to the incident, all remaining campers in the Lake Angeles area were evacuated.
A cougar attacked an 8-year-old boy who was camping inside Olympic National Park Saturday before the child’s mother scared the animal off, officials said.
