Fish, milk, egg, meat production will be surplus in 5 years: Razzaque

DHAKA, April 24, 2021 (BSS) – Agriculture Minister M Abdur Razzaque today said, the food production of the country would become surplus in next three to five years.
“The present government is trying to ensure nutritious food for the people of the country… In the next 10 years, Bangladesh will be self-sufficient in granular food and the production of fish, poultry, milk, eggs and meat output would be surplus within next three to five years,” he said.
He was speaking as the chief guest at a virtual discussion meeting organized by Bangabandhu Veterinary Council on the occasion of World Veterinary Day 2021, said a press release. ....
