The organization that runs a popular heater hotline in Philly is launching a new fund, to pay for hot water heater replacements.

Philadelphia is set to build 1,000 new affordable houses in neighborhoods throughout the city using private developers. The 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom homes will cost between $190,000 to $230,000 to purchase, with mortgages at around $1,200 for first-time home buyers.

If you own a home in Philadelphia that is in need of emergency repairs, you may be eligible to have those costs covered under a city program that has covered millions in repairs for residents this year.
