The bodies of a deputy and a woman he had recently arrested were found in the Tennessee River late last week, according to the local district attorney.
Tennessee deputies say the deputy was texting his wife and radioing back about his first arrest when he missed a turn and drove into the river.
Funeral arrangements have been announced for fallen Meigs County Deputy Robert "RJ" Leonard.
