Flexible workspace providers in India are shifting to asset acquisition to meet rising demand. Major players like Table Space and EFC are expanding operations through property purchases, driven by increased interest from foreign funds and top corporations opting for flexible workspaces.

Table Space appoints Gaurav Singh as president, a hospitality industry veteran. He will fortify the organizational framework, nurture strategic partnerships, and innovate the next-generation managed office experience. With two and a half decades of experience, he will strengthen customer relationships and position Table Space as a leading provider of luxury workspace solutions.

The proposed investment will be in the range of $300-400 million. Novarete plans to expand its IT-enabled BPM platform in the healthcare, insurance and select banking and financial services (BFSI) sectors through organic growth and acquisitions. With the significant capital commitment from Hillhouse, Novarete plans to expand its team within a couple of months, said sources.

The cumulative rental payout for the transaction is over Rs 333 crore through the total term. The agreement includes a provision that grants Table Space an option to lease an additional 1.97 lakh sq ft of office space, thereby expanding the total deal size to nearly 3.30 lakh sq ft.
