As I write this article we are in the middle of Banned Books Week, the American Library Association’s awareness campaign to bring attention to the books that have been contested
The roundtable takes place from 12:10-1 p.m. in the Terrell Library atrium and online. WSU librarians also provide a few reading suggestions to commemorate Banned Books Week, which celebrates the freedom to read.
This upcoming week the Kazoo Books, located at 2413 Parkview Ave, Kalamazoo will be celebrating the books that have been banned in schools and will have many on display that you can check out from October 1st through October 7th.
